Adhkar before sleep

He joins his hands together, then lightly blows into them and recites into them: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Say, "He is Allah, [Who is] One, Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, nor is there to Him any equivalent." In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak, from the evil of that which He created, and from the evil of darkness when it settles, and from the evil of the blowers in knots, and from the evil of an envier when he envies." In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the Sovereign of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the retreating whisperer—who whispers into the breasts of mankind—from among the jinn and mankind." Then he wipes with them over as much of his body as he can, starting with his head, his face, and the front of his body. (He does this three times).

Allah—there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the All-Sustaining. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Magnificent.

The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and so have the believers. All of them have believed in Allah, His angels, His books, and His messengers, saying: We make no distinction between any of His messengers. And they say: We hear and we obey. We seek Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the final destination. Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity. It will have the reward of what good it has earned, and it will bear the consequence of what evil it has committed. Our Lord, do not take us to task if we forget or err. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and do not burden us with that which we have no strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy upon us. You are our Protector, so grant us victory over the disbelieving people.

O Allah, verily You have created my soul and You shall take it’s life, to You belongs it’s life and death. If You should keep my soul alive then protect it, and if You should take it’s life then forgive it. O Allah, I ask You to grant me good health.

Glory be to Allah (thirty-three times), praise be to Allah (thirty-three times), and Allah is the Greatest (thirty-four times).

O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the earth, Lord of the Magnificent Throne, our Lord and the Lord of all things, Cleaver of the grain and the date stone, Revealer of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Criterion. I seek refuge in You from the evil of everything whose forelock You hold. O Allah, You are the First, so there is nothing before You; You are the Last, so there is nothing after You; You are the Manifest, so there is nothing above You; and You are the Hidden, so there is nothing beyond You. Settle our debt for us and relieve us from poverty.

All praise is for Allah, Who fed us and gave us drink, and Who is sufficient for us and has sheltered us, for how many have none to suffice them or shelter them.

O Allah, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Lord and Sovereign of all things, I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my own self, from the evil of Satan and his call to polytheism, and from committing evil against myself or bringing it upon a Muslim.

He recites Alif, Lam, Mim, the Revelation of As-Sajdah, and Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion.

O Allah, I submit my soul to You, entrust my affairs to You, turn my face towards You, and commit my back to You, out of desire for You and fear of You. There is no refuge and no escape from You except to You. I believe in Your Book which You have revealed, and in Your Prophet whom You have sent.
