- عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رضي الله عنه قَاَلَ: كَانَ يُعَدُّ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي الْمَجْلِسِ الوَاحِدِ مِائَةُ مَرَّةٍ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَقُومَ: ((رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي، وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الغَفُورُ
It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: One hundred times in a single sitting, before he got up, it would be counted that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: My Lord, forgive me and accept my repentance; indeed, You are the Accepter of Repentance, the Oft-Forgiving.
