Al-Ba'ith — Meaning of Allah's Name

Meaning

The Resurrector, who will raise the dead on the Day of Judgement.

  1. 7وَأَنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ ءَاتِيَةࣱ لَّا رَيۡبَ فِيهَا وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَبۡعَثُ مَن فِی ٱلۡقُبُورِ

    And [that they may know] that the Hour is coming - no doubt about it - and that Allah will resurrect those in the graves.

Surah Al-Hajj · 22:7

Allah says: “And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them” (Quran 7:180).

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Allah has ninety-nine names, one hundred less one; whoever enumerates them will enter Paradise” (Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim). This does not mean His names are limited to ninety-nine.
