Meaning

The Most Generous, whose giving never runs out.

In the Quran

  1. 6يَـٰۤأَيُّهَا ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلۡكَرِيمِ

    O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous,

Surah Al-Infitaar · 82:6

Allah says: “And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them” (Quran 7:180).

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Allah has ninety-nine names, one hundred less one; whoever enumerates them will enter Paradise” (Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim). This does not mean His names are limited to ninety-nine.
