Surah Al-Qadr (“The Power, Fate”) is chapter 97 of the Quran. It is a Meccan surah of 5 verses that begins in Juz 30 on page 598 of the Madinah Mushaf. Below is the full Arabic text with the Saheeh International English translation.
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
- 1إِنَّاۤ أَنزَلۡنَـٰهُ فِی لَيۡلَةِ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ
Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree.
- 2وَمَاۤ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ
And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?
- 3لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ خَيۡرࣱ مِّنۡ أَلۡفِ شَهۡرࣲ
The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.
- 4تَنَزَّلُ ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمۡرࣲ
The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter.
- 5سَلَـٰمٌ هِیَ حَتَّىٰ مَطۡلَعِ ٱلۡفَجۡرِ
Peace it is until the emergence of dawn.
