Surah Al-Aadiyaat (“The Chargers”) is chapter 100 of the Quran. It is a Meccan surah of 11 verses that begins in Juz 30 on page 599 of the Madinah Mushaf. Below is the full Arabic text with the Saheeh International English translation.
بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
- 1وَٱلۡعَـٰدِيَـٰتِ ضَبۡحࣰا
By the racers, panting,
- 2فَٱلۡمُورِيَـٰتِ قَدۡحࣰا
And the producers of sparks [when] striking
- 3فَٱلۡمُغِيرَ ٰتِ صُبۡحࣰا
And the chargers at dawn,
- 4فَأَثَرۡنَ بِهِۦ نَقۡعࣰا
Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust,
- 5فَوَسَطۡنَ بِهِۦ جَمۡعًا
Arriving thereby in the center collectively,
- 6إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودࣱ
Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful.
- 7وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَ ٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدࣱ
And indeed, he is to that a witness.
- 8وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلۡخَيۡرِ لَشَدِيدٌ
And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense.
- 9أَفَلَا يَعۡلَمُ إِذَا بُعۡثِرَ مَا فِی ٱلۡقُبُورِ
But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered
- 10وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِی ٱلصُّدُورِ
And that within the breasts is obtained,
- 11إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمۡ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لَّخَبِيرُۢ
Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted.
