The dua of Prophet Musa (Moses)

Surah Taa-Haa · 20:25–28

  1. 25قَالَ رَبِّ ٱشۡرَحۡ لِی صَدۡرِی

    [Moses] said, "My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance]

  2. 26وَيَسِّرۡ لِیۤ أَمۡرِی

    And ease for me my task

  3. 27وَٱحۡلُلۡ عُقۡدَةࣰ مِّن لِّسَانِی

    And untie the knot from my tongue

  4. 28يَفۡقَهُواْ قَوۡلِی

    That they may understand my speech.

The supplication of Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) when he was sent to Pharaoh, asking Allah to expand his chest, ease his task and untie the knot in his tongue. Muslims often recite it before speaking or a difficult task.
