"In the remembrance of Allah hearts find rest"

Surah Ar-Ra'd · 13:28

  1. 28ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَتَطۡمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِۗ أَلَا بِذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِ تَطۡمَئِنُّ ٱلۡقُلُوبُ

    Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah. Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured."

A verse from Surah Ar-Ra'd that explains why Muslims keep up the remembrance of Allah (dhikr): it brings calm and reassurance to the heart.
